Our Story
Founded in October 2022, by the creative minds at PARA inspired shortly after the tragedy that occurred at Uvalde, Texas on May 24th, 2022.
Nearly 400 law enforcement officers descended upon Uvalde, yet through an unfortunate mishap, better-equipped departments didn’t step up to fill a leadership void after the Uvalde schools police chief failed to take charge, where no one was able to stop the 18-year-old gunman from carrying out the deadliest school shooting in Texas history.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, “Proposed Operating and Capital Budget,” as of 2019, Performance measures show their average emergency response times are 6 minutes and 53 seconds. In a life-or-death situation, every second counts. You never know what could happen in unpredictable events with many different factors that could come into play.
The instantaneous thought, as if by revelation, ”What if we could take something that students are carrying every day and turn it into a tool that also acts as a personal protective armor to keep them safe?” After trial and error, the result was an ergonomic backpack design where we believe that when you are equipped with the proper tools and education, YOU become your first and best line of defense in any situation. We aren’t just a backpack company, we're a company devoted to the community.
How our product works
The firing pin hits the back of the caliber and launches the projectile, the rifling in the barrel causes the projectile to spin and accelerate. When the projectile hits the bag and causes the projectile to stop, the inertia that the projectile will hit the plate that causes an impact. The impact may cause the victim to suffer broken bones at the worst and some bruises at the least. The plate can stop up to 3-4 rounds, depending on the caliber that is used.
